Moose calf. Oct 1 2005. Mt. Katahdin, ME. Apparently the calves can make this plaintif cry which sounds like Chewbaccah from Star Wars. no joke! I went back down trail and alerted some Canadien hikers about the moose, and later found out they were the Keds backpacking team...
